I’m a cinematographer who loves bringing a mix of artistry and precision to every project — whether it’s food, beauty, commercials, or film.

Over the past twenty years, I’ve had the chance to work all over the world, creating pictures that not only elevates brands but gives an aesthetic power to what I shoot, either for commercials, docs or fiction.

COMMERCIALS & SPOTas DP

I create cinematic stories as an advertising cinematographer, blending artistry and technical skill to bring brand concepts to life. Specializing in food, beauty, lifestyle, and luxury campaigns, I use light, composition, and motion to evoke emotion, showcase products, and deliver visuals that resonate with audiences and leave a lasting impression.

SLOW MOTIONas DP

I specialize in slow motion cinematography, using high-speed imagery to make the invisible visible. By slowing down time, I reveal details, textures, and gestures that normally escape the eye, transforming fleeting moments into powerful visual experiences. This craft allows me to elevate food, beauty, and lifestyle campaigns with cinematic precision, emotion, and unforgettable impact.

DOCS & FICTIONSas DP

Traveling across four continents, I have documented stories of animals, people, tribes, and civilizations. I have filmed, often edited, and sometimes directed these documentaries, turning lived experiences into cinematic narratives. Each journey has taught me how to share with the audience not just what I see, but my vision of the world we inhabit, creating a connection between life, story, and viewer.

DIRECTOR

For a cinematographer, directing can sometimes happen by chance, sometimes by choice, and sometimes out of necessity. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is observing the people I collaborate with and learning from them. I have directed projects spanning documentaries, fashion films, commercials, and corporate productions, always bringing the same curiosity, passion, and energy to every story I tell.

Why Me?

why me andreaturri

I’ve spent over 25 years filming across four continents, capturing the lives of people, tribes, animals, and civilizations. From documentaries in remote locations to fashion films and commercials for brands like Barilla, Campari, Ferrero, and Ferrari Spumante, I aim to make the invisible visible—slowing down time to reveal gestures, textures, and fleeting moments that often go unnoticed.

I never set out just to film images — I set out to listen. To a place, to a person, to a story waiting to be told. Over the years, from deserts and forests to cities and studios, I’ve learned that the camera is not just a tool but a companion — one that slows me down, lets me notice details, gestures, and fragments of life that would otherwise slip away.

I’ve directed, filmed, and sometimes edited projects that range from documentaries to fashion and commercials. What unites them is the same drive: to make visible the invisible, to bring out a truth or a beauty that others might not notice. Each collaboration is a journey where I learn from the people I work with and try to give something back — a way of seeing, a way of feeling, a way of remembering.
